Happy New Year!

The waning days and hours of December 2008 in Alabama have been beautiful and warm. I trimmed and pruned trees and other decorative foliage in our yard today wearing shorts. It is very different than all other Decembers I remember anywhere else I have lived (New York, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Texas, Kentucky, Minnesota, and now Alabama).
