It is exciting to approach mid-terms not because I am a conflict junkie, but more that I am alive, kicking, and nearly half the way through my first year of law school. I do believe that the present course is exactly what the doctor or law doctor ordered.

Happy New Year!

The waning days and hours of December 2008 in Alabama have been beautiful and warm. I trimmed and pruned trees and other decorative foliage in our yard today wearing shorts. It is very different than all other Decembers I remember anywhere else I have lived (New York, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Texas, Kentucky, Minnesota, and now Alabama).
