MENA ISC 2012 – The Security Trifecta™ – Day 2

The second day of MENA ISC 2012 was action packed with many great presentations. I had many engaging conversations with quite a few delegates. Discussing The Security Trifecta was of course a favorite topic of mine. What really matters was the overarching theme that was delivered by many speakers was in getting control of information security fundamentals. The Security Trifecta delivers this message in great detail.

I would have continued discussing this for a much longer period of time, but there are only so many hours in a day.

I’m with Dr. Mohammed Omar, CEO of Virtuport who brought MENA ISC to the world stage. It was a pleasure and an honor to receive this appreciation award which will be displayed proudly in my office and will no doubt spark more discussions about the event and the message.

This panel discussion led by Virtuport’s own Samer Omar included my esteemed colleagues Vivek Malhotra and Paul Kurtz. We discussed Cyber Defense in-depth and lively audience participation followed. Again, we never seem to have enough time to fully explore all of the questions.

What a great presentation hall the Kempinski Hotel in Jordan provided for the conference.
